He said to me: Maintain simplicity and be innocent, and thou shalt be as little children who know not the wickedness that destroys the life of men.

First, speak evil of no man, neither take pleasure in listening to a slanderer. Otherwise thou that hearest also shalt be partaker of the sin of him that speaketh the evil, if thou believest the slander.

Rather, practise generosity, and of all the produce which God giveth thee, give to all that are in want ungrudgingly, not questioning to whom thou shalt give and to whom thou shalt not give.
