These are the visions, the mandates, and the similitudes which the shepherd, the angel of repentance, gave to me, the servant of God.
2
If then ye shall keep them and walk in them, and exercise them with pure minds, ye shall receive from the Lord all things which He promised you.
3
But if, after hearing them, ye do not repent, but still add to your sins, ye shall receive from the Lord the opposite. All these things the shepherd, the angel of repentance, commanded me to write. This is the Shepherd of Hermas. Amen.
