And I said to him: Sir, now explain to me about the stones that were taken from the plain and set in the place of the stones that were removed from the tower.

He said: These are the roots of that white mountain. When those who believed from the white mountain were all found guileless, the lord of the tower ordered these stones to be put into the building of the tower, for he knew that if they were put, they would remain bright.
