And the Lord said to me: Behold, Adam; thou shalt die because thou hast transgressed the commandment of God. But because of the promise which I made to thee, in the fulness of time I will raise thee up.

And after these words, God sealed him with His signet ring and said: Do not let death have dominion over him, but wait until the fullness of the ages when I shall transform him again into glory.
