Rabbi Ishmael said: Metatron said to me: Come and I will show thee what has been decreed upon the nations of the world. And he showed me every decree of righteousness and truth.

There I saw the righteous, who in this world serve the Lord in truth: their garments of glory were being woven for them in heaven, that they might wear them in the world to come.
