Every wound and every assault and every burn and every evil word, if they come to you because of the Lord, then endure them, and even if you are able to repay, do not repay your neighbor.

Wait for the Lord's judgment, for He shall be your avenger in the day of judgment, that there be no successor here, that a man might hold a grudge against man.

Only the Lord takes vengeance, and not man. And now, my children, hold firm, walk in the precepts of the Lord, and do not go astray.
