And now, my children, place the thought in your hearts and give heed to the words of your father, which are made known to you from the Lord's lips.

And receive these books from your father's hands, and hand them over to your children and to your children's children, for the chosen of the Lord have multiplied.

Blessed is the man who during his lifetime examines his own behaviour in the light of the Lord and who brings his heart as a gift and prayer before the face of the Lord.

Cursed is every man who opens his mouth for rumour-mongering and slander of his neighbour, because that man brings himself to perdition.
